Worn tire update, So my axel is is off its mark by 7/8" on the right side. They specialize in axel repair and are going to make the correction. and they are putting 2 new light duty truck tires on that will be just fine. I can go at higher speeds but not much traction in dirt situations. That's ok as i'll be spending most time on highways. Of course this is to the tune of 500.00. I'm asking what is the likely hood that either FR or Lippert will reimburse me for my charges as the trailer and tires have less than 7000 miles on them and the repair shop says the axel bent ate my tires up. Any imput would be great. Sean

Sean, are you replacing with 235's?  Which LT tire are you going with?  Was always told not to put passenger tires on a trailer, but numerous have said its ok as long as you get the right kind.  I guess the right kind have higher ply and stiffer sidewall.  So if we want to keep the 235's, LT is the way to go.  As I mentioned before, there are no 235 75 15 replacement trailer tires.  Why would FR put a tire on our pods that no replacement exists?  Frustrating.
Good Luck!
Thanks
Jeff

Yes, Radials are used on travel trailers.  several or maybe many companies brag about using them including the R-pod (although I have no idea when they started using them).  My 2018 model has nitrogen filled Radial tires.  you can check Forest River's R-pod site and see them brag about it.
