Ours got replaced under warranty because the fan itself went kapoot on us.

To our surprise we ended up with the clear tinted cover on the new one.

What a difference, it really is like a moonroof, it's so much nicer to take a shower in there now, we don't even turn on the light now.

And even better is at night, if it's even a relatively clear night and there is some moonlight then there's no turning on the light at night for potty breaks either.  It's amazing how much it lights up that whole area!

The heck with the gubmint.  Ordered mine this morning.  Your killing my retirement with all these mods.  Headed out day after tomorrow for 5 days.  Will install on our return.  Safe Travels.

Just make sure you check Google Maps/Google Earth periodically to make sure you're not flashing the entire internet world. Star

Just bought a RPOD 178, I asked my he dealer to install a cover over my fantastic fan, I just wanted to leave the lid to my fan open and not get in rain.. The dealer had two types of covers, both would not fit!
Now what?  They said the cover would hit the TV antenna!

I have a R178, 2016 model.  When in storage, I want to leave the fan cover open to let out all the hot air

I want a cover for the fan so rain cannot get in.  Seems like the tv antenna gets in the way.  Any suggestions?

I left the vent open an inch when we weren't using it, no cover.  The little bit of rain that came in wasn't a big deal since it was in the bathroom.

Ok, until I can find a roof cover, I will let me the rain come in.  I will also l leave the cap off the grey water tank with the valve open to drain the rainwater to the ground.  Shower curtain extended all around the bath door.
