Calendar Event: Fridge Circuit Posted: 14 Oct 2016 at 8:52am |
Been busy and have not had much time to get on our site. Okay, here is my question for you elec tecs. We were just out on CG electric and the GFI popped. The refridge lost power. Is that the way it should be wired? Seems like it should be on its own breaker. I've not looked at the cb panel but are there any open spaces? Thanks.

For some unknown reason some Pods are wired that way. Seems like a dumb way to do things, but maybe it's faster/easier/cheaper for the factory. Other Pods are wired correctly with a separate fridge breaker (Let no two Pods be built the same). If you can you should rewire it.

At least we don't have no TPO roof.... yet. LOL But yes, some, in fact IME, most pods are wired this way.

| Hmmm...........I've heard the 2019 Pods will have Saran Wrap roofs and poured concrete floors. No leaks, no rot!

The fridge on our 2016 179 is on its own circuit and the GFCI has no effect on it. Same is true for the microwave and the AC. GFCI only protects the plug circuit

We are the same as sailor. Our 2011 177 fridge has its own circuit as well.
