I've posted a similar question on the Facebook site and done a search on this site, so forgive me if this question has been addressed several times before.

The elastic in the black netting in our 2015 178 is disintegrating.  The fabric has become droopy as a result and the elastic's making a considerable mess on the floor and shelves.

Has anyone had any experience replacing this?  Facebook posts suggest searching cargo netting, which I did but it appears the product is mostly custom fit.

Any recommendations or links would be appreciatted.

Thank you.

Don, you basically just need some elastic shock cord.  You just have to string it in the netting the same as the old cord.  It's available here on Amazon in a variety of colors:

Hope this helps.

I had to create a custom elastic netting between two open shelves in my shower and I used elastic cord.  The netting is just elastic cord woven into a pattern.  You could add eye hooks or something similar on either side of the opening and wrap the elastic cord back-and-forth.

My wife found a site called organizedobie.com

This appears to have what we need, but I'm a little concerned with the sizes of the nets vrs. the enclosure size on the pod.

Nonetheless, I've purchase replacements. If there's no issues I won't bother a follow-up post. Otherwise if this isn't the solution I'll be sure to let you know.
