My wife and I just ordered an R 179 that we expect in late October or early November.  We both have some camping experience but this will be our first real camper.  Just wanted to say hello and to thank everyone for the info I have gleaned from this forum already.  We live in SW Ohio but plan to do some winter camping in South Georgia and summer camping in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota so you might see us on the road enjoying our retirement.

Welcome! Congrats on your 179. We've had ours for a little over 2 months and love it! We full-time and find the 179 comfortable! Hope you enjoy your Rpod as much as we do ours! Happy trails!

Congratulations and Welcome! We got ours in December 2015. We have really enjoyed it. The 179 is a nice layout, and I have done a number of mods that make it even more ours. You can see the mods from the link in my signature.

I live in South Georgia, Ashburn, right next to Wanee Lake Golf and RV Park. They have golf, swimming, fishing, tennis. Hope you enjoy your 179 as much as I do my 180. If you come this way give me a shout!!

Welcome, I too have a 179 that I have had a little over two months. Two trips so far and two more planned before the end of season. We have no complaints. My only regret is that I looked for so long and wish I had pulled the trigger much earlier, Enjoy.

We had the 179 for a few weeks and the 'new feeling' hasn't faded yet! Kids love it. Adults love it. Could'nt be better!

It has arrived!  Dealer has to prep it, but we got to see it, all pretty in blue and with a sold sticker with our name on it!  Can't wait to try it out.  So far I love the tips I have received on customization and accessories from all of you.
