My wife and I just ordered an R 179 that we expect in late October or early November. We both have some camping experience but this will be our first real camper. Just wanted to say hello and to thank everyone for the info I have gleaned from this forum already. We live in SW Ohio but plan to do some winter camping in South Georgia and summer camping in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota so you might see us on the road enjoying our retirement. |

Welcome! Congrats on your 179. We've had ours for a little over 2 months and love it! We full-time and find the 179 comfortable! Hope you enjoy your Rpod as much as we do ours! Congratulations and Welcome! We got ours in December 2015. We have really enjoyed it. The 179 is a nice layout, and I have done a number of mods that make it even more ours. You can see the mods from the link in my signature.

Welcome, I too have a 179 that I have had a little over two months. Two trips so far and two more planned before the end of season. We have no complaints. It has arrived! Dealer has to prep it, but we got to see it, all pretty in blue and with a sold sticker with our name on it! Can't wait to try it out. Nice to see that three of my mods have been incorporated into the newer models.I installed a window in the door, an electric jack, and a hard-shell propane tank cover. I've done many more, but those three are visible in the picture.  I hope you enjoy your 179 as much as we are enjoying ours.
