+1 on the thermostat setting and the warranty coverage. Also make sure you are tripping the GFCI outlet.

For your air conditioner coming on when you turn on the heater... Your fan setting on the thermostat has to be set to AU (automatic). If it's set to hi or low the fan comes on when the furnace turns on.
Click the thermostat to fan, then use the + / - settings to change to AU.

Prior career was Air Traffic Control Equipment Repairman. Forgot half my stuff by now (LOL). Search online and perhaps you'll find a Service Manual with a Diagnostic flow chart. Good luck isolating the problem.

The fridge is covered by Dometic for two years. Including the MES Board.

Well, I know this isn't exactly your problem. Only thing I can say is that I feel your pain!

I've rewired or am in the process of rewiring the battery connections. As an example, on the tongue jack I've installed a marine grade connector that has shrink tubing rather than the stupid vinyl shields.

I was disappointed in the condition of our trailer on delivery. I had asked the dealer to install an electric tongue jack. When I picked up the trailer there was a ball of wiring wrapped in black tape. When I got home, I removed the black tape and found this mess (pictures).

The fridge in our trailer quit working first trip out. We took the trailer back in to have it looked at. They couldn't find anything wrong. Two weeks later we went out again. The fridge worked for one day and quit again. All lights out on it and no errors. Took it back in and they kept it for a few days. Still couldn't find a problem and did not have it shut off. This is while on gas or electric.
After that I went into the breaker panel and discovered that all of the wiring was loose on the terminals and some that didn't have the insulation stripped back. The fridge worked for quite a while but this last week it quit again. I am suspecting that I missed something but I may have to go deeper into the trailer. The heat won't come on now and the AC wants to come on when I try to go to the heat function. Anybody having problems like this? I just went in and checked all the connections I could reach. Looked okay. Checked for voltage at all the terminations on the circuit board in the fridge. Seemed normal but I don't have specs for this. And in case you are wondering, I am an industrial electrician so I am familiar with AC & DC and electronic repair. This seems to point to the control board at the top of the fridge. Frustrating because I am sure it is not covered under warranty even though it has been an issue from the beginning of ownership.
