We had one command strip that held so well that the adhesive on the back of the vinyl face of the paneling pulled loose.

...a paper towel holder with shelf,

...and small shelves above all the bunks.

That happened to me, too, in the Georgia heat last summer.

Not really much of a mod, but when sleeping on the dinette/bed we put down two coleman self inflating bed rolls we used when tent camping under the cushions for extra thickness and comfort....makes a world of difference and they take but a minute to deflate and store under the seats

Second mod, we put up a small curtain for each bunk, blocks out the light when our son wants to watch a movie on the tablet or play his gameboy before bed time.

my husband told our nephew what he wanted and he designed it and it is made out of vinyl, looks really great.
