Hello, I am Lorelei.  My husband David and I bought a 176 brand new the weekend before Thanksgiving but it's having all kinds of problems - leaks, electrical issues, etc.  We will probably take it back to the dealer's for a refund.  I am profoundly disappointed in R-pod.  We loved the layout and the cuteness of the camper but it's garbage.  So sad.Unhappy

Welcome. Sorry to hear about your problems, your story isn't the only one like that lately. However, everything should be covered by warranty.

What specific problems have you seen?

Sorry  for the problems you have encountered.  We bought a brand new 2015 179.  We have never owned or even used an RV.  We didn't expect it to be problem free.  Happily, we have had no problems.  Even so, I am sure that problems will crop up.  We expect it and we will deal with it.

We have taken it back to the dealers for a full refund.  Thank you for all your help, and I really wish we could have kept it, but it had multiple defects besides the leak.  Something burned when we hooked the battery up to it (yes, the polarity was correct), plus other things the dealer could have had corrected but the dealership was a 200 mile trip that my husband had already made twice.  I could have torn it apart to check the plumbing (my motto is "fools rush in," Big smile) but that would have voided our warranty.
Thanks again for all your help.  I wish I could have been a podder but it just didn't work out.

You would think after all the posts of problems people are having over the last few years that they would get their quality control up to a higher standard  A  friend of mine just bought a trailer and he wouldn't buy at Forest River product because of the problems I had .
Love to camp
