Been watching the forum for a few days. Great ideas for winterizing. This is my first ever forum and first ever RV. Got a 2016 179 and pull it with a 2012 VW gas Touareg. Retired after 40 yrs of custom home contracting in Blue Ridge Mnts. Wife is patient with my new found wanderlust and we took our first excursion for two week jaunt to Fla spring country. Had a great time and am looking forward to the next. The forum already addressed many thoughts and questions that came up.
Thanks

Congrats on your purchase and lifestyle change. I get 179 envy every time I see how much more storage there is. Enjoy.

Welcome, Will-yum. Like you I am a new owner of a 179. We have used it once and had a great time. The extra storage was the deciding factor in choosing it over the 178. I put all the items I normally carried in our older rv and still had storage room left over.
