We tow our 179 with the new style Cherokee. I've found the mirrors to be too small for towing, but I haven't had any luck finding some quality mirror extensions. Has anyone out there found some good aftermarket extensions that fit the newer Jeep Cherokee mirrors?

Thanks,
Geoff in CT

gkooris,
Have you checked with your pod dealer? We just ordered extensions for our Nissan Frontier thru our trailer dealer.

I use the JR Grand Aero Towing Mirrors.  They are universal so they fit all vehicles and work really well.

Mike,

I just ordered the mirrors. Just finished winterizing, so the next project is to find a cover that fits a 179!

Thanks,
Geoff

I purchased the Classic Accessories one from Amazon.  I have had it for over a year now and it is holding up well.
