I am picking up my new-to-me 2011 Rpod 177 in 2 days and I'm very excited. I've never had a camper trailer before and the Rpod is a great fit for me.  I have a lot to learn so I'm glad to have found this forum. I am going to be towing it with a 2002 Chevy Tahoe.  I'm mostly going to be using it on weekends when I'm participating at dog sports competitions, so the camper is going to be for me and my 2 dogs.  One of the first things I need to do is get a new mattress for my Rpod. The one that came with the trailer was pretty worn out, plus I just feel cleaner getting a new mattress, so I told the dealership to just toss it out as they are prepping the trailer for me to take home.  If anyone has any mattress suggestions, I'm all ears.
I think I'm going to name it the Pawd-Pad.
I look forward to all the discussions of this forum!

Welcome.  Lots of people love memory foam around here.

I just bought and tried an Alps Mountaineering self inflating pad for our 178 dinette. I have to say it's the most comfortable night sleep I've had in the pod. We did an extensive mod (see sig) to convert queen to sofa/bed (using standard twin matress), so often use dinette for second bed. We've replaced all the foam in dinette with much better foam than factory. With Alps Mountaineering pad it is very, very comfortable and the pad is easy to roll up and put away. Henry loves it! Henry is my camping cat.

Yes, those are wild ponies dining on grass while dumping tanks!
