New member, sorta new owner. Hubby surprised me with a 'new' 177 last September! 😄 We started out 41 years ago, honeymooning in a tent in Michigans U.P. Tented with kids for years, kids grew up and moved out and we then graduated up to a used canvas pop up for many years, wore it out and transitioned to a no bells and whistles Aliner (loved it! No problems!) for 6 years. After being in a walking cast for 10 weeks during camping season...(clump, clump, clump night time runs to the bath house) Hubby surprised me with the Rpod and we love love love it! I say 'new' because it has a somewhat mysterious history....have been a year now "working with" the dealer and Forest River to reconcile some waranty issues. But in spite of that side of it, we absolutely love our Rpod and find it perfectly fits our needs and camping style ...which has morphed from rustic just a bit. All of our camping buddies have big rigs and fivers, but our Rpod is just perfect for us. Looking forward to sharing tips, hints, mods and destinations with other Rpodders!
Happy adventuring!
