We've never used the sink in the shower, other than to hold a few things,  and I'm considering taking it out.  Has anyone done this?  Was the drain an issue?

Took mine out 5 years ago from one of the first 181g's made.  Not an issue at all.  Remove screws, unscrew pipe, pull off the sink, cap the remaining pipe, and then you'll get the wallboard kit from Forest River to seal up the hole.

Takes just a few minutes really.

Thanks!  I'll have to give Forest River a call to see if they still have the wall board kit available.  On the R-Pod Owner's Facebook page where someone had used plexiglass to cover the opening and then covered the part showing the opening with one of those mesh pockets.  I think the original wall board would look better.

Hopefully they will sell direct to you. I was told yesterday that FR's policy now is to only sell to dealers.

I purchased mine directly from FR.  It seems to be a common item that owners buy.
