There were discussions on that early on, on this forum.  Even go the max 8 feet wide like many campers and there would be room for a walk-around queen.  The length could be kept shorter, too, with some floor plans, since the total area would be the same.

Doubt there will ever be a pod with the bed turned. The pod is what it is. To turn the queen bed, the pod would have to be at least a foot wider. I seriously doubt that happening, FR already has several shorter length trailers with a north south bed and wider stance. The narrowness of the pod concept is part of it's appeal and design criteria.

It could be wider by having the weels inboard instead of having fenders.  Lots of towables are built that way.  I am not a marketing person and don't know what kind of work FR has done to look at this market.  I just know I am keeping what I have unless they make one that I like better.

I like it...it is a nice model....but my future still says 183g, or as I call it...the perfect pod.  Thanks for the great video!

I really wish they put the dinette on the slide so it had a bit more counter space (and my head wouldn't sleep right next to the fridge). Love that full bath! Don't understand why there isn't a fan in there.

Also wish for over bed cabinets like the ones over dinette in the 179. I still want those in my 179.

I agree with both of you on that , would love better access to the bed, but really doubt it will happen!

No official specs and this one hadn't been weighed and stickered since it's the prototype.  But I would say somewhere just under the weight of the 179 based on the floorplan and smaller slide out.
