My interior LED lights on my 2015 178 are too bright.
Has anyone addressed this issue?
Have located LED in line dimmers on Ebay for about $3.00 each and could be hooked inline to each light that we wanted to have a dimmer function.

Would appreciate any input.

Thanks,

Irish Tom

Eagerly awaiting responses to this question, Irish Tom.  We were just out for an inaugural run in our new 179 on the weekend, and just about got blinded by the LEDs (especially over the bed, where we wanted to use the light for reading, not interrogation LOL). My husband was also wondering about dimmers.

I'm sure that I'm in the minority here,  but I love the lights in our 179.  Yes, they are bright, thankfully.

I like the bright lights in my 179 also. I guess it must be my old eyes that need the bright light!!

BTW, my understanding is that not all led light bulbs can be dimmed.

You can replace them with "warm white" LED bulbs.....I believe from Amazon.

If you don't mind killing the warranty on your factory LED lights and doing your own wiring/caulking, there are quite a few camper dome 12v LED with built in dimmers on Amazon.

They should be bright, but why is it better that bright be the only option?  I personally like long talks over drinks in comfortable light.
Is there no place where a master dimmer could be installed?

Depending on how the LEDs are driven, you might be able to use a simple potentiometer to dim them (somewhat), or you may not be able to dim them at all (unless you replace them, or modify them). Some LED packages have boost/trim electronics on them which will prevent them from being dimmed.
