My CO detector is beeping too. Tried replacing the battery with no luck.  Sticker on the detector says to replace in 2016.  I'm guessing the Florida humidity is harder on the sensor.  Going to try and find the same model replacement so I don't have to drill more holes in the wall.

We were told by our tech, you cant really go by the sticker and they do just kind of go. We had ours go , bought brand new in July 2015 and the detector went in September 2015. Our dealership replaced it right away.

I just noticed this. The LP detector works by heating a wire, so it will be warm inside. This is why LP detectors arent run by AA or AAA batteries - they need too much power. Which is why they drain the big battery in a week or two, too.

I am also having an issue with my RV Propane Gas Detector (Model 20-441-P) in my 2013 RP-177. I has gone off twice now very early in the morning (4:00am and 6:00am). I pushed the mute button, but it sounded again after a few minutes. Not a beep, but a constant alarm. I did not smell any propane and I checked my tank which was not leaking.
This did not happen at all when I was traveling a few months ago. I am staying in it full-time right now, and my son is sleeping right above the sensor on the bed that is converted from the dining table.
How do I diagnose what the problem is with this thing? (Could it have something to do with the fact that he is sleeping right above it?)
I'm not sure it I should replace it (faulty sensor) or if it is going off because it does detect gas. Wouldn't I smell propane leaking in my trailer?

Not being funny, it could be from him.  Someone else here has said his dog will set it off.  Just make sure he doesn't eat any beans on camping trips.  Ok, that was an attempt at funny.

You could try replacing it, they are about $50.

Had the same issue with my 2015 Rpod 178.
Dealer (Couch) sent me a new one.
Problem solved.

Thanks for your help, I decided to replace it in hopes that the new one will not be defective. (The propane sensor, not my son.) I found the same one at Camping World for $60.
