Hi All.

Joined up to be able to ask some questions about Rpod ownership.  I'll be posting in the (hopefully) appropriate forums, requesting input and sage advice.

Thanks in advance.

Sage is the primary ingredient in my fresh ground pork country (breakfast) sausage. Other ingredients include fresh ground pepper, kosher salt, brown sugar, marjoram and a pinch of cloves.

Welcome, and I hope that advice helps!

Oh, btw, if you decide to start fishing for advice, Leo's da man!

Welcome.  Don't worry, if you post in the wrong area we force you to sing the alphabet backwards while standing on one foot.

Yup, they did!  And it just so happens that will be one of the primary purposes of our trailer. Fly rod storage will be mandatory.  Kayaks either strapped, stuffed, racked, or folded (yikes!). Food, clothing, other survival items ruled non essential and will be sacrificed due to weight limitations.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Sounds perfect!! You fish fresh water, salt water or both? I do a lot of fishing in Vermont ponds, lakes and streams spring summer and fall. Then Ice fish all winter. October is save for going down to Cape Hatteras and surf fishing for Blues and red drum and flounder!!

Mainly fresh as I live on a river system that's literally out my back door.  And when we camp it's usually in the mountains near a lake or stream, fly fishing for trout.  One goal is to take the trailer on a Yellowstone trip.  Great fishing out there.  Salt has been reserved for our big vacations.  Bonefishing (again, fly rodding) in the Keys, and also did a combo SCUBA/bonefishing trip to Belize a number of years ago.  Living on the left coast doesn't allow me much opportunity in the salt as I like to wade and/or stalk and we don't have the flats like in the south and east.

Oh, and I used to live in Wisconsin, where I started my fishing habit.  I would go ice fishing once a year.  ONCE. It would cure me from going again for the rest of the winter!

Sounds great!! I have a ice fishing shanty that I put on Lake Willoughby on an average winter day, it will be 5 above to 5 below outside and it will be 72-80 inside with my trusting gas heater.
My son loves fly fishing and is trying to get me hooked on it.
