This is the exact one I bought, although it was $65 when I bought it a month ago.


No issues with mine.

Doug, I have been looking at those, what model did you get? Are you happy with it? I have seen mixed reviews on some.

I now carry a telescoping ladder to check out my slide-out.  Lightweight and doesn't take up much room.

I carry a 4' ladder because I often clean and wax etc...while I'm camping. It's an activity I enjoy with cold beer. Anyway, I just hose it off as part of my breakdown process. I suppose you could stand on the tailgate of a truck or the back deck of an SUV and hose it off.

i have seen some pics of a type of awning that attaches to the lip above the slide thats supposed to keep all debree from getting caught up there, maybe do a search online for that? I was actually thinking hte same thing the other day when checking mine to slide it back in, good luck

Has anyone come up with a clever way of cleaning the slide roof before retracting?  After a long camping weekend I know there are a bunch of fir needles up there.  I'd rather not haul a ladder.  I keep thinking about some sort of articulated pole with a whisk broom attached.  I need to come up with something before I break my neck standing on two stacked coolers!
