For a while now we've been toting 5 gallon collapsible water jugs to top off fresh water. We rarely use hookups. Data point: on our trip last week to Assateague, with quite a bit of fishing bait stink to wash off and long showers and not feeling water conservative, we used 45 gallons (almost exactly) in three nights. That meant I had to lift 3 five gallon jugs of water to fill the tanks. (Yes, I did tote 10+ gallons grey water to dump station). I'm young (61), but that lifting jug to fill water tank is beginning to get old.
When we got home, my new Harbor Freight Pump was waiting for me. A test drive with a 18AH battery booster and 5 gallons of water and 50 ft. of hose in the driveway leads me to warn you...
If you happen to be camped within 50 ft. of my water fill and you wake up to empty water tanks, you may wish to politely ask to borrow a gallon or two (back) or take a shower!! Wink
It just keeps getting better.

This is what I do to fill my freshwater tank, 1/2 pail at a time.

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

That's a good idea and looks just like my grey water tote!

No more Lug a Jug! Took about a minute to pump 7 gallons 25 feet. Thumbs Up

Need to make up a Anderson Quick Connect extension for TV or Pod batteries. It's a 300 watt pump.
