Hi everyone!

I'm new to the R-pod but not to small trailers. I bought my first small trailer (a T@B) in 2004, then a Little Guy (Rough Rider) in 2010. Done my share of dry camping and a little 0ff-road camping with my Jeep.

Now I'm ready for some more civilized travel (toilet/shower) and some get-togethers. I did go to some "T@B rallies" a few years ago and had a very good time.

My wife's not into camping so I usually travel alone or with my brother. As a couple of fat old men, we make quite the impression. My son calls us "Santa Claus and Father Time."

Looking forward to seeing you all on the road sometime.

We also started out as T@B owners!!

We loved our T@B, and even my 6'4" husband was willing to overlook it's slightly squishy sleeping situation. What pushed us to getting our Pod was a failed camping trip to the Oregon coast back in March. We don't mind camping in the rain, but we knew that we needed a trailer that would give us a bit more space for those times when we are stuck inside due to weather (the T@B was fine for sleeping, but being trapped in there with my husband and our 3 small dogs for more then a day just wasn't going to work).

Now we're the happy owners of a 179...we feel like we're living in a mansion now! Welcome to Pod life!!
