Hi
The slide out on our 179 was going in and out very roughly.  Checked the panel for the slide and red light of continuous flash this Suggesting power to ground error  - occurred when on battery power  or  when plugged in. We've checked all the wires coming into the slide and don't see any obvious loose connections ( as one who knows very little about electricity).   On a whim decided to use our new non touch volt meter and while ON BATTERY  the entire frame (including all the metal propane connections) makes the volt meter beep and flash rapidly.  We had checked iusing the non touch volt meter  last week before our first trip and no response from the volt meter ( no problem with the slide last week either.

Obviously ( I think) we have a grounding issue. Dealer is talking to ?Liebart? (Factory) for direction.  Any suggestions ideas...

Big thanks for recommendation of buying and using the non touch volt meter!!!!

Something isn't right.  The NCVT will only detect AC voltages, I just checked the specs and the Klein dual-range NCVT to be sure.  Even though the dual-range model will detect as low as 12 volts, it still must be AC and not DC.

Thanks Doug
We were confused too. Went out later in the afternoon and no voltage recordings from the frame.
The slide motor is still running rough. Can't figure that one out either so will take it into the dealer ( Travek mor - excellent service to date)
