I tow with a 2013  Dodge Grand Caravan with the 3.6 v -6 that puts out 290 horse power, depending on the wind, we average anywhere from  13.5 to 16 miles per gallon, this is carrying maybe 5 gallons of water and our clothes and kitchen stuff.
This is usually travelling out of the mountains of Vermont down to the flat lands of Massachusetts and below. We usually are driving around 55-60 mph. I am really happy with its performance

10-12 mpg is pretty much the range most see, regardless of vehicle.

Tow vehicle?
Coming up on spring & my tv is a Denali 6.2 liter engine. Needless to say I am not setting any MPG records towing my new 178. Getting 10.5. Looking to acquire a replacement second vehicle. What are members getting MPG wise & what vehicles are being used.
Thanks for your response in advance
