I figured it out. Slide the lense toward the round end.
I plan to source the light for 12 volt DC and run non-metallic wire mold to allow am outlet for phone charging.

It might be a lot easier to replace any of the AC outlets with an AC outlet that includes USB plugins.

I wouldn't source the 12 volts at the light fixtures for charging.  Tap the wires coming from the converter and place 12 volt outlets where it is convenient to sit your phone.

My /14 179 has a DC outlet behind the TV set over the bed.  To keep the television plugged into the DC outlet, you can buy a splitter cord that sends the 12 v in two directions.

Techntrek,
I posted the above post at 10:09 AM Pacific time.  I noticed your post says it came in at 4:00 PM.  In know the clock is correct on my computer, and I don't think you are 6 time zones ahead of me.  Can the time on this board be corrected?  Thanks

The connection points behind my TV are antenna, 120 volts, and video out, I have found 12 volts available behind the DVD player, but it may be easier to run the wiremold from the light.

I have the HRE.  That may be why 2 models of the same year are different.  The light may be your best bet.  Good luck.

Doug

No problem with the server time, I'm making this post at 9:58 Eastern, and it is the time shown on the post.  Make sure your time zone is set correctly in your user settings (Member Control Panel).

Edit: and the post above that you referenced shows a post time of 1 pm, which is when I made it.
