Calendar Event: Still trying to get tv sound thru pod speakers Posted: 26 Jan 2015 at 8:26pm |
Holy Smokes...wow, could the audio be blue tooth? Does the TV manual indicate it has blue tooth audio? I know the Jensen does. Anyway, I'm sure one of the other Podders will be along shortly to shed some light on this so stay tuned!

2014? Must be a manufacturing error. Can you post a pic here with the same shot? I would think Forest River would take care of this.

I think all the PODs should have this setup, where did you get your POD? It appears they missed it when it was built!!!
Can anyone out there shed any light on this? Is there a version of a 177 that does not include an RCA plate on the entertainment wall for connecting he tv? I don't think so. coledj, what year model is your 177?

Thank you 1 photo is worth a thousand words that answered my question my 177 does not have that wall plate or rca cables any where in the trailer. it must matter what mood they are in on any given day. I see many things different on the same models. My only choice now is to try and run cables thru opening's inside the wall. I will run cables on the floor first to make sure it will work. Thanks for all the reply's

No, you should see RCA cables from the plate to your TV. Y (video) W (L. Audio) and R (R. Audio). |

That sounds very easy to do. I wonder is Jensen assuming that all r-pods have these rca cables installed thru the body of the pod (my 2014 177 has only 1 rca type cable pre wired it is yellow from the back of stereo on video out to the wall plate marked tv video out then hooked to AV section that has 3 connectors marked V L R it came hooked in V . all of your rca cables are hidden in the walls aren't they Thanks to everyone very much for all the help

1. Turn off Tv speakers in the Audio menu on tv. 2. Then change audio from variable to fixed (this is grayed out until you turn off tv speakers) 3. On the back of tv make sure the white and red Rca cable is plugged into the audio out 4. Back of stereo switch Rca plugs to audio in 5. On stereo use the Aux 1 button when viewing tv This came directly from Jensen stereo. I hope this helps |

All I can recommend at this point is to drill down on the manuals and/or find an AV specialist to trouble shoot it. Please come back and let us know how it turns out, that's how we learn here.
Good luck, Sir.
