elastic netting over slide opening

It's a common sense one.

And who am I? just a guy with common sense I guess. I also keep my fingers and toes clear of car doors when they open and close and stuff like that.

There are MILLIONS of travel trailer slides on the road, and it seems to be a non-issue for, well, most of them. Again, yes stuff can get caught in the slide. Check before moving it.

This wouldn't be a problem for most slides, which have solid sides.  It sounds like this design exposes a hole that is hard to clear.  I wouldn't want to get on my stomach with a flashlight every time I wanted to open the slide.  I don't need to do that with the slide on my Salem - I make sure I have enough room outside and then I push the button.

At what point did I say you, or ANYONE else didn't know anything because they just got their Pod, or just joined the forum?

In what way is it NOT "common sense" to NOT put things into the path of moving devices, and or to check the area is clear before initiating said move?
