Not as painful as when they stick to your leg! Anza Borrego has some fantastic mountain hiking, one of our favorite places. And it's always warm & sunny.

Spent the weekend in the local desert; about a 2 hour drive from San Diego. Anza Borrego is California's biggest state park, and they allow camping virtually anywhere. Weather got up to 85 during the day, and got down to about 60 at night. Beautiful spot to camp, just watch out for the hitchhiking cactus!
