Topic: Novo snap top battery cover Posted: 18 Aug 2014 at 7:40pm |
Just bought my 179 and when I headed out to go camping, noticed my battery had dropped to 1/2. Then I remembered I should disconnect the battery ground cable when the trailer is in storage to prevent power drain.
After camping I stored Froggy and tried to disconnect the cable. The battery cover is a Novo snap top battery cover. It has instructions on the side of the lid that I can't read to open the cover. Can anybody tell me what they say? Or, how do you open the battery cover? I'm sure it just snaps, but how? Gar

My engineer son found the simple solution. Push the side handles IN instead of trying to pull them out.
Happy Trails, Gar

He probably got a charge out of figuring the solution to that problem.
