After several posts regarding keeping ice in hot weather and cold drinks, we bought and used the Igloo Ice Maker, currently Sam's Club $99 (Camping World $159) and OMG, was life simple. Not only did we have ice for a glass but was replenishing it in the cooler. Kept our dog happy too since she is not big on drinking water, but eats ice when we are home. FYI, it dumps every 6 minutes.

Those things have intrigued me. The ability to make ice in the middle of nowhere. Egyptian Emperors would have wiped out entire enemy states for the ability, and yet we can just buy it online.
I'm very curious how much amperage they use.
