Water in tail lights

A lesson in automotive physics. No matter how hard you try to seal something, you can't. Drill a small (1/8") hole in the bottom of the plastic lens. Better to drain than to accumulate and corrode stuff. 

Charlie's givin' you some good advice. Our '10 RP175 tail light was holding water pretty well. Naturally that was just after the warranty was up. Sealed it the best I could, carefully drilled a small drain hole, and no probs for the next 3 years. And I live in a pretty dank area!

we just sold out Pod today and found the light out was why I asked...for the new owners. Had not had the problem before. Thanks for answer, was trying to figure out just HOW it happened in the first place.

Nothing.   The husband camped once in the Pod. Had stopped camping, among other things and my stamina level is not what it was, so while it was in the shape it was time to let someone else enjoy it. And I think they will. Hope they check in with the forum here, I think they will be keeping the Escape Pod decal and have a Liberty jeep for TV.

Strangely , I was tickled to see the Pod go into such good hands, she was just skipping with delight and he was eager to get started on adventure with Escape Pod. At least the burden of it is gone for one person, he is energized now having gotten his way. Now I will be looking for some kind of replacement to be out and about instead of planning the next TV program! Sadly, he camped when young, his family did not go far afield, but they had the TVA lakes for playground and did large family gatherings. He had his, but pooped out much too soon for me. Camping was just make believe for him and he did make an effort for some years in motorcoaches, I am thankful for that. And had some years on my own, which was fun to learn new things.
This site has been so informative, amazed even him and he recommended it to the new owners. Not just good advice from people with knowledge but fun ideas and places. Thank you for pointers when I was stumped , which was a lot of the time, but helped me find my own way when there was none coming from here.
