I look at your extensive mods & say to myself "Wow. This guy has too much spare time." On top of that, it amazes me the vision that you have towards mods. And the workmanship appears outstanding. I would really like to see it up close & personal, because it just amazes me.

Congrats, this is impressive stuff. I've seen lots of exterior RV mods over the years and few of them pass muster, yours is the rare exception.

That said, as you are just up the road from me, know that you welcome to stop by anytime to mod my 178.

Also, how about some details and pictures of your tow dolly. I have a tight parking spot in my back yard and could really use one of those.

When I cut off the crank I left the nipple as long as I could cut a thread on it and put on a long nut.(don't know what they are called) I then filed a small section of the nipple flat and put a setscrew in to the nut. see pic.

marwayne, your nose job looks like an interesting addtion, def helps to solve the problem of having too much stuff!  Quick question, I saw your drill sticking out of the tounge jack, how did you do the conversion?  The only thing I have found so far is to cut off the handle and weld a head on that your drill will take, but I dont have ready access to a welder, so was hoping for a "quick fix"...

Thanks!
Bobby

I don't think that marwayne has to many things on his pod that he did not build himself. Smile If you notice his tagline. If you want something done right, do it yourself.

I added a small wooden dual battery box and thinking of adding a generator to the tongue and was worried about the added weight. I think that you may have surpassed me there, therefore, I probably shouldn't worry about my added weight.
Looks great!!!!!

I put a 120 lbs genset and dual batteries on the tounge of my pod without issue.

As of now my tongue weight is 290 pounds, I like to get to about 350 to 400 pounds.

@Marwayne:  Congratulations on the finished product.  Truly is a sight to behold.
