Hello everyone - we got our R-178 back in September and managed two outings to test things out and we are in love.  Since then its been snoozing until spring, but we can't wait to get out.

Also wanted to thank everyone here for the amazing tips and mods - we have done a bunch of the easy stuff: Cover for the stove (made from two corian cutting boards attached w/liquid nails), replaced the aluminum blinds with fabric, etc.  We still have a mod list for the spring.

Anyway, thanks for this great forum, and we can't wait to meet our first podder out on the road.

Thank you everyone! We are taking our first long trip to D.C. in April so we will see how well the Jeep does as a longer distance TV.

Hope that Jeep does well in the D.C. snow!! Just kidding...

I am sooo over this winter. Visited my Podsickle out back yesterday. Figured I should make a visit before it gets buried in more white stuff tomorrow. Arghhhhhhh.

Welcome.

I'm more worried about the nutso drivers on the Jersey Turnpike!

We have towed the Jersey turnpike several times, it is not bad except the toll. It is just over $35.00 each way if you go the whole length towing your pod.
