I'm very excited. We just bought a 2014, 178 this morning after seeing it at the Toronto RV show. Thanks to everyone on this forum for the great info. It really helped us make the decision to get a Pod. We are experienced campers but have never owned a trailer before. I look forward to hearing all the tips about our new home away from home as we plan a lengthly trip to Alaska,NWT and the Yukon this summer.

Welcome aboard and WOW, that will be quite a trip!  How long do you plan on camping on your trip?  Something Diane and I hope to do after retirement, but that is 5 years away and who knows in that time if America will be able to survive another term of Obama?

Welcome CathyH from a fellow Ontario pod owner, you'll love your camper. We also went from tent camping to the rpod. This site as well as rpod nation, and facebook for rpod owners is great for getting any and all questions answered.

I have recently retired and my husband has been retired for 3 years so we are able to take as long as we want for the first time in 40 years!   We will leave end of May and I expect we will be gone most of the summer. Lot's of planning ahead. We were in the Maritime for 5 weeks last fall and decided that we wanted a travel trailer that would be easy to tow with our Tacoma and the RPod fit the bill. Can't wait to get out in it this spring!
Best Regards!
