When I signed up I put Bakersfield, but was thinking near Bakersfield.   Need to change that- lol.   Tehachapi Ca. is 4,000 at the summit on Hwy 58.   Definitely not as cold as Truckee.   Maybe  instead of winterizing the pod I will keep it in baks- lol.

Just trying to winterize. Why is the antifreeze running out of the outside city water inlet? R all your valves off on the water heater? You show one still running in the direction of the pipe. thanks

When the valves are in the winter position the one in the middle will still be open (handle parallel to the pipe).  The ones on either side will be closed.  During the summer all 3 are exactly opposite.

If it's coming out your city water inlet then your backflow valve is perhaps open and possibly needs reseating.  Wiggle the screen cover out of the city water inlet outside and locate the little plastic button-nub inside.  Give it a good push and it should pop out and reseat itself and stop water, or antifreeze from coming out there.

Thank you for posting the great video. I have a 2014 178. I do not have the T in the water line to put hose in AF bottle. I bought a connection at Lowes to hook into pump directly. I have to unscrew the hose at inlet side of pump and screw my self made hose assembly into the pump. Still works but a T would be easier. Might install a T in the future.
I want to camp in the winter too. I was wondering if anyone has cut a hole in the plywood under the mattress so that you don't have to unscrew all those screws. I worry that taking those screws out and putting them back repeatedly in the wood will split the wood or strip the hole out. Just trying to get ahead of any problems. Right now I just did not install the screws back. The plywood is just sitting there. I figure the mattress will hole it in place.
