I installed my first Coleman roof A/C in a motor home we had in 1979, and every motor home or TT we have owned since then has had a Coleman unit, except for a 2007 Aerolite Zoom which had a very noisy Dometic 13.5K unit.  Our 2010 has an 11K Coleman unit, but the pod and all the literature are in storage, and have been traded in on a 2014 178.  I will try to take a photo of the inside housing in the next few days.  Yes, I know what a Coleman (and a Dometic) look like and don't look forward to the noisy Dometic that will be in our new 178.

By the way, our Coleman 11K has been discontinued, but the cabin portion looks very similar to the newer Coleman units except for the heat pump models.  I checked online for a photo or illustration, but could only find them for the roof top portion.  I even checked the Airxcel web site.

I did find an article showing how to service the Coleman filters.  The inside cover is virtually the same as mine although it is a different model.

New maintenance question. What is the white chunks of stuff come rolling out of the hot water heater tank when I drained it. What to do?

Is there a filter or any maint. that needs to be done to the Pod heater?

That is the lime scale and sediment from  your anode rod.  Spray it out with the garden hose to get some of the extra out.

kymooses has it right with cleaning out the tank, put the sprayer for the hose in the drain opening and move it in different directions and fill the tank somewhat. Then drain the tank and repeat a few times until the scale stops coming out. Goose
