There should be a washer with a screen present.

The fans in the furnace and a/c are both annoyingly loud; but, I think that's almost unavoidable in a small camper. In our homes, the fans are in another room and/or on another floor. In a small camper, they're only a few inches or feet away.

I'm not sure how it is on other models; but on our 173, the black water and gray water have two separate drains. It is an absolute pain to have to hook up twice to dump, and it makes things a litte trickier to park the camper in just the right position to avoid having to move for the 2nd dump.

Welcome.  The A/C noise is one of the biggest problems, I agree.

I think we all agree that the Coleman A/C units are much quieter than the Dometics.  I wonder if when you order one, you could specify a Coleman.  I have mentioned before that our 11K BTU Coleman is much quieter than the 13.5 BTU Dometic we had in our last TT.  Or, can you order one that is A/C ready and have the dealer install a Coleman?  Just asking....

Bob

I have always wanted to try one of these Coleman A/C units, but unfortunately I have never had the chance.  I have seen them for sale and working on videos, but never had the pleasure to sleep with one on.  How well do these actually work?  Besides the noise, arethey really worth it?

When you mention water spewing every where, was it inside or outside?
