Coming from owning a tent trailer with no shower to an rPod 178, how does this whole shower thing work? What do you do after showering to dry the bathroom off? Wipe it down with an old towel? Sorry for such a silly question, but would love to know what works best.
We haven't got our trailer yet, but we already ordered a mattress through Camping World. Do people generally make their beds with sheets and blankets or sleep in sleeping bags? In our tent trailer we always slept in sleeping bags, but it seems like the rPod would be warmer. But how do you make the bed with sheets and blankets and be able to tuck them in?
Thanks, you guys! We're really excited about our trailer and can't wait for it to be delivered!

Having a 177.... We sleep in luxury....shower and clean sheets.... Ah so nice. As for the shower area I usually turn on the fan and extend the shower curtain and that will usually dry quickly. Towel dry the camode and dry the shower pan and and place small mat in shower pan.

For sleeping we originally started with our sleeping bags laid out and zipped together, which was great for our fall & winter camping. As it warmed up that wasn't going to work so we got a Queen sized set of sheets. We left the sleeping bags on the mattress, put the fitted sheet over the whole setup as it gave us some more cushion that way (rather than buying a new mattress which is on our wish list), top sheet over it and then we use a lightweight comforter from home.
Coming from tent camping, having the shower is great. I'll take a quick one at night just before going to bed and M takes hers in the mornings. As said, once done just open up the curtain and turn the fan on to help it out, and we use an older towel dedicated to swiping off the toilet, walls and floor. Only takes a moment.

We are into our second year in our 171. We purchased a single fitted sheet for the European mattress from Camping World. What a fabulous difference. We had a pair of down sleeping bags from our tent camping days, and just use them opened up as blankets. Works for us. As to the shower, even with the fan running the floor was usually still wet after running all day. Got a brilliant idea of purchasing a small window squegee and use that to corral all the water on the floor to the drain. In an hour or two all dry. We don't worry about the walls or curtain as they seem to dry fairly quickly with the fan running. Always get full hookups, so we don't have to worry about constantly running the fan. Safe Travels.

We use sheets and the comforter as well, more comfy!! I will say however that the bed is a drag to make, and sheets seem to come off/out easily. We did put a foam topper on top of the mattress which makes it very comfy as well. When we use the shower, just a quick wipe down of the toilet and turn on the fan, dries fairly quickly.

We don't worry about the walls, just wipe the floor dry with a "dog towel".. we travel with several, and then let the fan run. I have wiped the walls down with a mild cleaner a couple times. EDIT: and we are sleeping bag people. We bought a very light set of bags to zip together. If it would be to warm in the pod for them to be comfortable... I would turn the a/c down a notch.

We have a 4" memory foam topper. We put the fitted sheet around it instead of the whole mattress. That way we can lift up the back corners easily. Makes making the bed so much easier. In the shower we dry it every time with a chamois (takes no time at all).

Memory foam for us, too, just below the mattress cover that came with the pod. Same sleeping bags we've used since our popup days on top. One loose sheet each if we get a little warm. We keep the A/C fairly cool. We use a cloth chamois to dry the bathroom, pushing most of the water to the drain with it and then doing a final dry-off. I use the same chamois as a bath mat outside the shower. I keep the side vent for the A/C that faces the bathroom open to dry it out.
