Just got the 178. I love it! Just curious how everyone packs clothes etc. There are no cupboards or drawers for packing. I have two drawers under the bed which are working fine but any creative ideas would be great.
Thanks Luanne |

Ours is a 182. Anyone find something to use to make the dinette sleeper a little more comfortable? Thought about foam rolls over the seat cushions.

We wipe the shower essential parts with a towel. Hang on a clothes line outside. We make the bed like at home with sheets and blankets. Sleep in same sleepwear (or lack thereof) as at home. |

Memory foam for us, too, just below the mattress cover that came with the pod. Same sleeping bags we've used since our popup days on top. One loose sheet each if we get a little warm. We keep the A/C fairly cool. We use a cloth chamois to dry the bathroom, pushing most of the water to the drain with it and then doing a final dry-off. I use the same chamois as a bath mat outside the shower. I keep the side vent for the A/C that faces the bathroom open to dry it out. |

We have a 4" memory foam topper. We put the fitted sheet around it instead of the whole mattress. That way we can lift up the back corners easily. Makes making the bed so much easier. In the shower we dry it every time with a chamois (takes no time at all).

We don't worry about the walls, just wipe the floor dry with a "dog towel".. we travel with several, and then let the fan run. I have wiped the walls down with a mild cleaner a couple times.
EDIT: and we are sleeping bag people. We bought a very light set of bags to zip together. If it would be to warm in the pod for them to be comfortable... I would turn the a/c down a notch. |

We use sheets and the comforter as well, more comfy!! I will say however that the bed is a drag to make, and sheets seem to come off/out easily. We did put a foam topper on top of the mattress which makes it very comfy as well. When we use the shower, just a quick wipe down of the toilet and turn on the fan, dries fairly quickly.

We are into our second year in our 171. We purchased a single fitted sheet for the European mattress from Camping World. What a fabulous difference. We had a pair of down sleeping bags from our tent camping days, and just use them opened up as blankets. Works for us. As to the shower, even with the fan running the floor was usually still wet after running all day. Got a brilliant idea of purchasing a small window squegee and use that to corral all the water on the floor to the drain. In an hour or two all dry. We don't worry about the walls or curtain as they seem to dry fairly quickly with the fan running. Always get full hookups, so we don't have to worry about constantly running the fan. Safe Travels.

For sleeping we originally started with our sleeping bags laid out and zipped together, which was great for our fall & winter camping. As it warmed up that wasn't going to work so we got a Queen sized set of sheets. We left the sleeping bags on the mattress, put the fitted sheet over the whole setup as it gave us some more cushion that way (rather than buying a new mattress which is on our wish list), top sheet over it and then we use a lightweight comforter from home. Coming from tent camping, having the shower is great. I'll take a quick one at night just before going to bed and M takes hers in the mornings. As said, once done just open up the curtain and turn the fan on to help it out, and we use an older towel dedicated to swiping off the toilet, walls and floor. Only takes a moment.
