You still might want to take a peak to make sure there aren't any piping holes that are allowing the air inside via that suction.

This makes sense. And I really think our aggravating problem was having the fan on while driving, creating suction and pulling in air through the yet-to-be-located leak. We drove three hours on Wednesday without any problem. But drove one hour yesterday with the fan on and the whole floor was like a cushion. We are also guessing that, to reduce the amount of glue being used in the eco construction, the linoleum is only fastened around the perimeter.
We're just going to monitor the situation, since we think we caused it. Bill

The news as you say is this There was a leak under the floor that was allowing air to get in around the flooring. When the slide would move in or out it would push air up and under the linoleum bubbling it. Fix was to find the hole, in their case there was a gap around a gas line and seal it with spray foam. The fault description is per the owner I saw that had this issue. The cause and fix are per the technician team at Forest River. The result per said owner is that her floor linoleum no longer bubbles up.

Any new news on this? We took delivery of our 178 Tuesday. After two days of camping and 300 miles driving, our whole gloor seems to have air under it. We did make the mistake of driving the last 60 with the fantastic open and on "low".
Other than that, we are thrilled with it. Thrilled. |

This is from the owner who had a similar problem.

We actually saw this recently at the FROG Rally, your slideout is likely pushing some air up under the linoleum. I didn't hang around that Pod for what the fix was, but I will contact them and ask and see if I can't get an answer back to you about what the service team did to resolve it.

The vinyl flooring in my 2009 RP177 is glued down - it hasn't budged an inch in the past four years.

The flooring is installed before anything else, so the cabinets, etc will keep it in place. However, I've seen mine bubbled up during rest stops on long trips. Somehow air is forced in between the hard floor and the linoleum. Goes right back down.

Mine is definately glued down. I did notice the other day that the wall with the guages/switches/outside light switch (first wall on the left as you go in) has come completely loose. Not sure if the glue dried up or maybe staples have released from the inside wall.
