just bought a Weber q grill, and find it is too big to fit in underneath storage compartment. Just wondering, for those of you who have something similar, where do you store it? It does not fit under anything in my 177 r-pod, and seems too cumbersome to just leabe in the floor space. Wishing I had gotten a smaller grill.

I've got a Broil King PortaChef - it travels in its vinyl bag/cover underneath the dinette seat closest to the door.

I have a large 2- burner stove, which travels on the front dinette. I may try to put mine in the rear storage compartment next time.

We are old school. Its just a Weber Smokey Joe charcoal countertop. Works fine for two people and storage is not an issue.

We have the old Weber Q120 (the one with the foldout tables but without the thermometer in the lid) and just pull the hinge pins out to remove the lid. Then both the upper and lower portions are stowed in the cargo compartment. We have the cover which helps keep the grill top clean.
If you're afraid to loose the pins, just keep a ziplock handy to put them in. Weber also sells replacement hinges so you can have a backup.

Same same. Ours travels under the fridge area when the slide is in. Fits under there perfect. |

+1 on the Smokey Joe. We use it as a fire pit when ground fires are not allowed!
