4 days in the SC mountains at Table Rock State Park. Got there on Thursday morning, leveled out the Pod and down comes the rain. Over the next 5 hours, during brief breaks in the weather, was able to keep running outside to get the dome and other things setup (like electricity, water, etc). Got soaked to the bone twice taking Comet for walks around the campground ... it would be blue sky when we started and because of the mountains around us we couldn't see the storm clouds, and we would be on the other end of the campground when the clouds were all of a sudden on top of us.
Never had an opportunity to build a fire, cooking outside was done inside the dome, and everything inside & out was damp the entire time. But we made the most of it, taking a couple side trips to explore the region (moonshine micro-distillery, roadside BBQ to die for, and tons of fresh veggie & fruit stands), and competing with each other in a marathon cribbage battle. M won. sigh.
One of the Park Rangers, as we were leaving yesterday, told us that by their gauge at the office it had rained over 11" in 3 days. Now I'm hoping for some good weather tonight and/or tomorrow so that I can lay the dome and carpet mat to dry out.
