What is a fair price range for the 178 model?

$14,500 is the list at my dealer.

Thank you

I would say that is easily in the ballpark for a new 178.

Couches would be the only place I'd think would have a cheaper price.  Wherever it is you're looking to buy you might check out Couches price first.  Never hurts to have their quote for a little bargaining with a local dealer!

Good hunting.

that would be a good deal if it's fully equipped.. R Dome, A/C, Microwave..

And I agree.. Couch's just simply will have the best price.

We just bought our 178 2 weeks ago and that is what we paid in northern KY. Couch had them for $500 less, but none in stock. They had no models in stock and were waiting for them from the manufacturer. But I was able to get the r dome and marine battery included, because Couch's does. But they wouldn't come down $500! I wanted it, didn't want to wait, so coughed it up.

Welcome.  Usually you can get your local dealer within a few hundred bucks with online pricing and included options in-hand.   Their excuse will be "shipping costs" or "that's what you'll spend driving to get it from the other dealer".  Fair enough in my opinion.

Are you actually a Kentuckian LindaP?  Lots of us here in the bluegrass state are Podders, we'd love to meet up with you sometime.

The Ky Mini Mini in September is slowly starting to shape up if you are interested!

Thank you for everyone's input. He has two types of stabilizer bars, one is $600 with limited warranty, the other is $800 that I am told can be moved to other trailers in the future.

Is there something I should ask about this for more information?

Thank you again, we have tent camped with our kids for 7 years and are ready for the next step. I love reading all the comments on this forum.

Both of these prices seem expensive. I am assuming this is installed. I installed my own and I was under $500 for everything. The difference between the two will be the weight rating. The one I have on my Pod is rated for a 6000 lbs trailer and 600 lbs tongue weight. This is more than My Tow vehicle is rated for so I was comfortable with this rating. you will see them from 3500/350 to 10000/1000 the tongue weight rating is usually 10% of the trailer weight rating
