I called and emailed Susan of FR last Friday afternoonabout the recall and just received a call back from her.  She is sending me a letter with a copy of my email attached (which contained details such as the pod VIN, model number, etc., as well as my address and phone number) which I can take to an RV dealer of my choice.  Once I make an appointment with them and they contact her, Susan will have all the materials necessary for the clearance lights sent to the dealer.  I bought the pod used from a non-FR product dealer, but she has no problem with that.

During our telecon, I mentioned that I had been reading numerous reports about decals peeling from all models of the R-POD.  Without me asking, she is going to send me a new set of decals for the front, but I will have to take care of the installation.  This will be a DIY project.

Maybe the new decals will hold up better than the originals.

I hope the decals work better too.  She has sent me a set even though I'm out of warranty.  Pretty good service!

It is ironic that I just casually mentioned all the problems owners were having decals and asked for her recommendations on maintaining them.  Her advice was to keep snow from sliding down the front and to keep them waxed.  Mine are still in good condition, but she volunteered to send a new set to my home.  I have always used the same paint protectant used by car dealers on my past RVs, boats and cars, and plan to do the same thing with the pod.  I have never had problems with decals, pen stripes, etc., so it should benefit the pod's decals, too.

Sounds like she's been reading up here, that is exactly what I posted about my decals - the 2nd set was fine until icy snow slid down the front late in the winter.  Note I said 2nd set.  Now I have none on the front or back, I wasn't going for a 3rd.  I kind of like the plain white now.  The side decals are fine.

my front and back on my 2009 look like Crap.  Once they come off they will stay off.  I have one on the side that is starting to look like it is going to go also.  I have an early 2009 model.

If and when (most likely when from what I gather) mine start peeling and coming off the front & back, I'm planning on just taking them off and not replacing them.  Sounds like too much of a hassle that many of you have had to deal with.

I am at the age where I don't have too many more years to go camping.  When I eventually sell the pod, I hope to put the new decals on.  Until then, the original ones are staying.

I forgot to mention that I received the letter from Susan authorizing a dealer to install the additional exterior lighting.  Great service from FR!

You have no problem with a 2012. Those of us with older Pods didn't have the light bar in the back and the fender lights. We got recalled.
