I saw a Palomini today, looks a lot like an r-pod so I looked it up on the internet and sure enough Palomino makes them and they are a division of Forest River. Seems odd for a company to make very similar campers under two different names.

No competition here. The mini does not have a wet bath or slide out. The dinette bunk is much more narrow than the Pod and there is no back window. However, it does have a rather large storage cabinet. The ones I looked at online retail for around $9995 so I'm not too sure of the quality either. The Pod is lookin' pretty good right now!

Very Interesting. Looks like they are going after the T@b market though not the Rpod market The biggest one is smaller than the 151 was. Smaller than the Rpod. it is shorter and narrower and lighter. No grey or black tank. It has a sink though so it has to have something in the way of a grey tank or perhaps the sink drains direct to a sewer hookup. I see it has steel wheels. Obviously a cost cutting messure. It also has  a bumper and inboard wheels. If it had a place to store a cassette toilet it would be a good little light weight basic trailer. I wonder if they will stay in their market or move up to bigger rigs the way that Rpod did?

The specs look just like our 152 minus the tanks and the bathroom.  It might just be perfect for our neighbours since they love our pod but always prefer campground bathrooms.

That awning shown on the exterior pics looks really interesting. I wonder if it can be added to th epod too?

Looking at the specs, it looks like it has a fresh tank but no black/gray so Sean must be right and you can only use the sink with hookups or an external dump tote.

Our Coleman popup had a drain that was a hose fitting. You put a short hose into a 5gal bucket and emptied it as needed.

I looked at one of these a dealer near my house has them. They are not near the quality or camper that the Rpod's are. To get the inside standing room they cut out the floor bottom and have a metal tray that drops down. And if I remember correctly they use soft woods for construction. It is a economy trailer from Forest River for those who are wanting a trailer that does't cost much. For the money perhaps it is a good trailer but I would rather buy a good used Rpod.     David

Just wondering if anyone’s ever looked at the Sonic Lite by Venture. If so what are your thoughts

Sonic lite. Well I actually sold my 2015 rpod 177 for a new sonic lite. MODEL SL169VRD. I fell in love with the floor plan and the decor.  However my RPod was made so much better. Never had issues but have had issues with my new sonic lite.  Do I regre it? Not really because I love my floor plan. I still think very highly of the Rpod..
