has anyone put an electrical outlet up front on the wooden ledge shelve in a 2014  r171, if so could use wiring diagram , also wondering if there are any cross boards that may be in the wall that would stop wire from being run, it would be nice to run coffee maker on the table instead of cogesting the work area by stove

If you mean the shelf on the front wall, you could tap into a 120 volt source right at the converter.  It is located under the driver-side bench.

how about horizontal cross board behind wall, dont want any surprises after outlet hole is cut

You may want to consider just adding one under the table below the bench seat, up against the front wall as close as you want.  That way you won't have to try and run the wiring all the way to the ledge top, and the coffee cord can just plug into it without being in the way.

Our 2013 171 has an electrical outlet next to the converter. It is stock from the factory. Safe Travels.
