I haven't seen the 2016 179. How different from the 2015 is it?

I saw one briefly.  An outside shower is now standard.  The tires are less aggressive.  Still off-road, but not the mud tire as the previous versions; more street oriented.  I think the hitch lock is a bit different also.

This is my first travel trailer and just getting my feet wet. I haven't seen a 2015 so I really can't help you in that department. I will say however that I am happy with everything except the A/C. Living in Florida, sleeping with the A/C on is basically impossible. Are all TT A/C units this noisy? Is there anything that can be done? Any experience in repairs or upgrades would be greatly appreciated.

For starters, leave the fan in the "low" and "on" position, so it doesn't cycle on with the compressor.  Also read through the thread below for a list of things I did to quiet mine down (some).

So had it out the past week and at just over 7,000 miles on the odometer, got 19 mpg on the ecodiesel towing up around Craig, Hayden and Steamboat Springs.

Ok, second try to post a photo of our RPod.  The first came out huge.  We are new 179 owners and new on the site we have been at Port Orford Oregon for the first week long trip.  We tow with a Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi and use a Equalizer E2 Hitch/sway etc.
