My 2014 178 at Wasatch Mountain State Park in Utah.  Interesting that winterizing the pod hasn't kept me home!  I've just been using the showers/restrooms at the park locations and using shore power…!

Happy tails and trails!

Wow! What a beautiful spot! Can your Schipperkes pull a sled? I just saw forecast calls for snow. :)

Fwunder,

We are in central jersey.  Another nice campground is Turkey Swamp, a Monmouth County campground in the pine barrens.  Another is Mahlon Dickerson Reservation up in Morris county.  Both are open till middle or end November and have water, electric and dump station.
I recommend getting a total of 100 feet of water hose.  Sometimes the source can be at a good distance from your parking spot, although the electric is close.

Thanks Walt,

Both campgrounds look really nice. We had hoped to get away to Tuckahoe State Park in Maryland. We hear good things about it and it's a short drive to the Bay - St. Michaels or Tilghman Island. It's on our growing list! So many places to visit...

Yes, X. It's a little Clark County Park near Pittsville, called Sherwood Park.  Unfortunately, this was the last year that spot on the water is available for camping.  They are turning it into a public use area for fishermen and their boats.

I tow our R-Pod 176 with my new 2014 Jeep Rubicon. Added electric brake controller, and 7 way plug, good to go, Tows great , mileage did drop from 18-19 to 13.8, but I can live with that.

nice looking rig! I'm a paddler, also. Purchasing a Pod on Monday, will be pulling it with a Silverado and now I'm trying to figure out how I want to carry my yak.

Here's the Tundra right before we took the Pod on its maiden voyage to Big Bear, CA!
