Congrats. I would press to have that crack fixed immediatley. Any crack will let water into the interior.

Thanks for the good advice on the crack. I had the dealer look at it very closely and he stated that most likely it was a gelcoat crack and for now to monitor it. He wrote on the bill of sale that if it became worse that he would repair it at no cost...I felt like demanding it be fixed but he is a professional and I sort of trusted his opinion. Besides, why would he let me take it if he knew it was a deep crack that would let moisture in...he would be paying a lot more out in time for sure. It definitely looks limited to the top surface.
They put a small reflective stick over it to mask it...I know, sounds like hiding it! But probably what I will do is for this season watch it and when I get it winterized have them repair it- telling them I don't feel comfortable with it etc. loving the 'RaPoda' though...it is going to be fun. Thanks again. |
