Just returned from a five week trip up to middle Maine and back from Georgia. One week going up stopping in Va, Pa, NY and South Maine. This was our 1st real Pod trip after a 2 day dry run locally.
Arrived at Balsom Cove Campground near Blue Hill Me and visited with daughter, hubby and 2 grandkids for two weeks. Lots of mosquitoes and first 4 days had rain. Tested out the RDOM and screen skirts - I'd give it a B+ as it kept out the bugs, the flaps were easy to use but the nylon does allow some drips of rain to come thru.

Queen size mattress we purchased worked REALLY well and was comfortable  ... In the 176T it lays vertically into the tent.  The heavy table was just about worthless ... Used it in screen tent for 'stuff'. Little, lite-weight folding table was great for 2 people.

Next week was down to Old Orchard Beach in south Maine.  Weather was cool and no rain but RDOM again was a plus for mosquitoes. GREAT LOCATION for families ... Nice beaches, things to do, reasonable prices. My son's family and 2 grand kids flew in from San Diego and stayed in a rented house ... More blessings for grand parents.

Next week we headed back down and were thankful for my brake controller as a little 2 door stopped in front of me while entering NYC METRO roadway and I had to lock up my truck brakes / I think the Pod locked up too. 

Camped in Pa (Shoofly pie anyone?) and Va two nights each ...  Very muggy ... Used the AC and will install the new digital thermostat when I get a chance - old mechanical one is a D-.

Didn't use my friction sway bar .. Tundra has anti-sway 'something' which apparently worked. The Tundra 'Tow/Haul' switch was GREAT and I had no problems keeping up. My MPG went between 10-13 mostly depending on terrain. Not great but it is a truck and I am pullin 4000# plus.

We're home and planning our next trip ...  Maybe California for 6 weeks?

	Sounds like a great trip, with Donna and I still working we can only pull off 2 nighters, but we know the time is near when we can really get out and see some of the beautiful country in the good old USA. we live in southern Indiana and have seen all the south east. We want to see Virginia, Pa, Upper New York, maine, wisconsin, the north east. Donna really wants to see New Jersey, I want some Crab, and some fresh oysters. can't wait to head out.

	We camped in the NE and Nova Scocia in our van, but want to take the pod east some day soon. My favorite memory of Maine camping was in the little private campground on the Bay of Fudny when the owner, after we checked in asked "need any lobstas?" We didn't have the pot to cook them or the tools to open them, so he brought us lobster dinners to the camp site for $6.00 each. I have never enjoyed lobster more! Nova Scocia is amazing, senic and the most hospitable people.

	Glad you had a good trip, a nice tour of the land. We did Maine last summer and we've decided we would rather have some crabs than lahbstah. If anyone is traveling through Maryland and needs an overnight rest stop - or even a few days to tour the area - my driveway is open to all. 30 amp hookup, water, and sewer dump.
