Welcome. First I would make sure you aren't inserting the disc upside-down. Then make sure the shiny side doesn't have any obvious dirt or scratches on it.

Thanks; the disc looks clean and inserted correctly. I press the DVD/USB button when the radio is on and nothing happens. I then insert the disc and the radio stops for a few second, player tries to run the disc and spits it out and the radio is back on again.

Hi Guys,
Any auggestions? It appears that the player spit out any kind of disc inserted (Mp3, regular CD etc).
Thanks in advance for looking into this.

I'm starting to lean towards "defective player".

I'll look into calling the DVD/combo manufacture directly to see if they can assist. Thanks.

I talked to the tech support of the player itself and after going through several troubleshooting steps it looks like Forest River forgot to unscrew the "transit screw" that was placed on the player. I will now have to take the player out and take care of this myself.
I'm hoping that this will fix the issue. Will keep you guys posted here.

Makes me wonder why the transit screw was there at all. This thing is designed to handle the bumps and jolts while it is installed in a camper - with no screw. So why put one in there for shipping?

Your guess is good is mine. The issue is fixed after i removed the front panel and removed the transit screw.

Sounds good.
Does anyone knows as to why the speakers in the pod makes the annoying sound (not sure how to describe it) when the volume is turned up a little bit?
The sound goes away when the volume is turned down quite low.
